Jumping out of a tiny plane in the sky…

We’ve been on the bus almost a week now and yesterday was the absolute bestest. Skydiiiive

Jumped out of a little plane at 15000 feet and it was insane. At first I thought my head was going to explode then it was just mental. So glad I did it and I would definitely recommend it to annnnyone but maybe not if you’re scared of heights as you’d probably pass out in the plane and then maybe be sick in the sky.

We also did a caving trip earlier in the week. Pretty sweet. Abseiled down a waterfall and then sailed through the glowworm caves on a rubber ring and climbed up a few waterfalls out. Hurt my knee and wrist a bit. It was flippin freezing but we were given some hot juice that I got poured all over me to make me warmer.

Had a cheeky night out in Taupo last night. Watched some fireworks that our bus driver let off in the street then went to the Base bar. Met some unusual men on a stag do. One said to me something like: “You’re probably a lioness aren’t you” What the hell!?  2 for 1 jaegerbombs always win. Also met some people with giant microphones apparently in town for a frisbee tournament. I thought that was a joke but apparently they are real?

Leaving here in the morn and heading to Wellington soon. Excite

OK.

Had 2 weeks in Bali that was loooovely so hot. Got the best tan I’ve ever had and nobody believed I was english for a while so that was nice. My parents and Marky flew out so had fam time in a lush hotel. Always nice to have a bit of luxury when you’re so used to bunk beds :)

Sue made some classic comments like ‘oh iguanas, lovely’ then I was left alone again for a bit. Flew to Singapore super early in the morning had to get up at 3am so that wasn’t the most fun but Singapore was pretty sweet. Bought my new cam hoorah can take some good pics now. Found my new fav. breakfast place that’s called Toast box. Oh stole some vegemite supplies from the buffet breakfast in Bali (just incase).

Going to the cinema on my own these days is norm. Quite like it actually. Is that weird?

Went to The Singapore Art Gallery saw some sweet stuff. Got the hang of the trains there, a bit like China but not as busy. Much nicer than the tube back home- they got aircon, tv’s, you get phone signal?

Flew to NZ on wednesday last week and got picked up by some family friends and stayed with them for a night then met Tanya T at the airport on thurs- checked into Nomads- went out for drinks- met Sonja, Frenchie, Jono and Lindsay and about 4 uninvited steve’s (weird old men) Had a few innapropriate conversations about apparently how french men speak to women in the bedroom…some examples:

“I’m feeding your cunt”

We tried to help him out in suggesting not to use these ways amongst the english or you will get a slap/general abuse/minimal success in the bedroom.

Visited a strange little Irish bar called Danny Doolans I think. Then ended up in a club called Forte that looked a little like a brothel. Nice evening.

Then Friday met up with a friend from home who I didn’t actual realise was in NZ for 6 months with his girlfriend. Little world. We met them in a gay club, then went on to some Drum n Bass night then I think lost them and went nextdoor. Met Paolo from Portugal who is the least looking Portugese person you will ever see. Also met some 50 yr old guy who was hanging out with us that was odd. We all went back to Paolo’s because we thought we should still be partying. A little bit intoxicated didn’t realize the taxi was going an awfully long way away from our hostel.

In the morning Alex ‘Oh Yeah’ put on some pirate porn which we watched at different speeds on the playstation. It got to about 6pm and we were like um why are we still here. So we went home.

Slept about 13 hours although we planned to go out sat night but failed. Tanya is still blaming the time difference but I dunno how long she can get away with that one! I’m also enjoying that she is naming the price of everything in Euros :)

This morning we got up super early for kiwi bus now we’re in the Bay of Islands but it’s pretty cold so we’re probably gonna head to the bar soon.

We’ve eaten about 8 burgers in the last couple days.

There is a tuk tuk outside I wonder if it knows I’m missing Asia. I like NZ but I want it to be hotter because I’m freezing and my tan is fading and I don’t have many jumpers. wah
